Privacy policy

BSP Incorporated has been certified to use the "Privacy Mark" of the Japan Information Processing Development Corporation, as a company that properly handles personal information. In addition, based on the following personal information protection policy, we endeavor to completely implement a personal information protection compliance program conforming to JIS standards (JIS Q 15001).

BSP Incorporated's Personal Information Protection Policy

1. Objectives of Protecting Personal Information

BSP Incorporated believes that we have a serious duty to reliably protect "personal information" in the performance of our main businesses: "development, sale, support related to IT systems operation management package software."

Accordingly, we take a company-wide approach to the "protection of personal information." We want to ensure that those of you who provide us with personal information will feel "safe" in doing so, and know that we accept the social responsibility of our duty to protect the information.

2. Acquisition, Utilization, Provision and Entrustment of Personal Information

At BSP Incorporated, at the time we acquire personal information to be used in our business, we clearly establish the purpose of use, disclose that to those of you from whom we acquired the information, and acquire the information only to the extent necessary to attain the purpose of use. Moreover, in order to ensure that after we acquire the information it will be used, provided and entrusted only for the scope of use that was disclosed by us, we thoroughly train employees and others with access to the information. Further, when personal information is provided or entrusted to others, BSP Incorporated enters into an "Agreement for the Handling of Personal Information" with the persons or entities receiving or entrusted with the information, and we endeavor to supervise them.

3. Purpose of Use of Personal Information

The purpose of use of personal information that is handled by BSP Incorporated is as follows:

For business contacts; for provision of products and services; for the issuance of invoices; in requests for cooperation in surveys; for information about events and seminars; in the publication of e-mail magazines; in preparation of statistical data; and in the sending of greetings and announcements.

[ Employee Information: ]
For employee management (procedures for joining the company, payment of compensation, attendance management, labor management and so on).

[ Job Applicant information: ]
For decisions on whether or not to hire applicants.

4. Sharing and Joint Use of Personal Information

Personal information that we acquire may be shared and jointly used with our subsidiary companies, BSP Solutions, Inc., and BSP Prism, Inc, within the scope of use stated above. In such cases, the person in charge of observing such share and joint use of personal information shall be a personal information protection manager of BSP Incorporated.

5. Observance of Law

BSP Incorporated will observe laws, government guidelines and other standards relating to personal information. And management arrangements for BSP Incorporated will always conform to those laws and other standards.

6. Measures for Safe Management of Personal Information

In order to ensure the accuracy and safety of personal information, BSP will carry out safety measures, starting with security measures, and will endeavor to prevent and rectify leaks or destruction of, or damage to, personal information.

7. Continual Improvement of Personal Information Protection Management System

Through opportunities for internal supervision and management review, BSP Incorporated will continually improve the personal information protection management systems, and will always maintain it in its optimal condition.
